Erin Rothstein
Born in 1986, Erin Rothstein is a native Montrealer who is currently
studying Fine Arts at Concordia University. For as long as she can
remember, her great passion for drawing and painting has sculpted
her longing to inspire others and, moreover, to become inspired.
Grand-daughter of the late, local artist Dave Clavier and niece of
Toronto artist Ron Clavier, she truly comes to the field with an inborn
talent.
Shortly after Erin won the Lori Stein award for outstanding
creativity in art at Bialik High School in 2003, she began designing
greeting cards for various organizations in the Montreal area.
A member of the Independent Art Association of Montreal, she is
always eager to learn more about the art-making process as her work
continues to inspire those who experience it. Having been chosen as
the recipient of the Dawson College Fine Arts Program First Year
Achievement Award and more recently, as a member of the Golden Key
International Honours Society, she persistently strives to create artwork that is
both innovative and heartrending.
As Erin embarks upon her 16th exhibition, she expects that her work
will instil within its viewers the same sense of passion that governs
her own will to draw and paint.
